You can’t actually do both at the same time. Our mission as church is not to blow these pagans out of the water. There are some really decent and intelligent people who don’t know and follow Jesus.

It’s easy to assign non-Christians one or both of those designations. I once heard it said that if you disagree with me, you must be either stupid or evil.

One of the things I dislike about what we typically call “defending the faith” is how easily apologetics can turn into atheist bashing. I’ve never been one who enjoys conflict, though I see how a healthy disagreement can bring growth. But either way, Speaking of Jesus has found its way into my vocabulary. Sometimes Medearis gives me a way of saying things I was already feeling sometimes he challenges me to say things differently, and I’m still trying out a new voice. These aren’t hard and fast rules, or even necessarily sage advice, just three things that helped me in my parish ministry. As a preview, I’d like to share three take-aways from the book. The author, Carl Medearis, will be the main presenter at the Michigan District All Pastors’ Conference in October. So it’s a book about evangelism, or, as the subtitle suggests, a book about NOT doing evangelism the way we used to. Friends I am sorry if my comment is theologically heavy, I pray that the Lord would use it to enrich you in you knowledge about him and also in knowing him personally.Speaking of Jesus: The Art of NOT Evangelism is all about the primary ways we interact with people who don’t know Jesus. Some free, from their only freedom to do evil by Christ, to bring forth good fruit, that Spirit produces.

But you are free from my very convicting argument to have your own belief! free! free, you might ask in what sense would that be! since I believe some are only free to do evil and bring fruit of iniquity, unbelief is a form of evil. But you know that true believers fight such thoughts and it to the teeth in their souls, no matter how much nature would be against them, since they also grown for redemption of the body. Also one single sin can damn a person when their cop of iniquity is full, that sin can be anywhere in human perspective but it it is fixed in God sight! Esa’s one sin, put him beyond repentance! If we do not warn people, their one homosexual thought might be, or identification, or boasting in it might just be the one that put them beyond repentance! I would warn everyone if I discuss something like this.
